In Sydney istn the grounds of Barker College, a new building has been constructed using innovative timber construction methods. The upper floors of the Barker College Maths and Student Hub consist of a glulam frame construction with cross-laminated timber ceilings on top.
HIGH DEGREE OF PREFABRICATION
The high degree of prefabrication enables efficient and economical assembly of the wooden construction. The coating and the installation of the steel parts were at the factory. The HASSLACHER Group produced around 600 m³ of spruce glulam.
