New article on the project "International House Sydney"

The german magazine covers in its current issue in several articles the large-scale project in Sydney which set new standards in timber engineering. The article "Holz als Statement“ ("Timber as a Statement") describes the characteristics of the project, whereas the article „Aufbau mit Lernkurve“ ("Assembly with Learning Curve") highlights the challenges during the assembly  phase. In the following interview „Die Lösung: Ein Hybrid“ ("The Solution: A Hybrid"), Erkki Valikangas, the responsible supply chain manager of Stora Enso describes the complexity of the project management.

The project "International House Sydney" is the first commercial office building in Australia constructed from timber. HESS TIMBER delivered the complete glulam timber construction (950 m³) for the seven-storey building. Production started in February 2016, then the glulam timber parts were shipped from March to June 2016
