For the first time, the editors of “Le Figaro” had the opportunity to visit the outstanding building with a surface of 35,000 sqm, together with the architects Shigeru Ban, who especially came from Japan, and Jean de Gastines.

The museum of the Fondation Louis Vuitton was opened in October 2014. The famous architect Frank Gehry designed the building, that essentially consists of 12 “canvas” made of glass, steal and timber. HESS TIMBER delivered the timber construction for this unique building.

In 2016, the country's first commercial wooden multistorey office building was built in Sydney in the district of Barangaroo South.
