HESS + HASSLACHER team takes 3rd place!
The 17th WIKA relay marathon took place in Klingenberg am Main on Saturday, 20.07.2024.
It is a classic relay competition in which 7 runners share the marathon distance of 42 km on a 6 km circuit. This year, a total of 103 teams from the Bavarian Lower Main region were registered. WIKA donates one euro to a charitable institution in our region for every kilometer run.
This year, we were even able to field two teams from the Kleinheubach site.
The “From Wood to Wonders runners 1” team achieved an outstanding 3rd place. The runners Merlin Müller, Anna Lena Assel, Daniel Quirtner, Steffen Radke, Verena Hübler, Stefan Nitzsche and Rensteph Thompson impressed with a total time of 3:13:20.9.
Our second team can also be quite satisfied with their performance. With a total time of 4:09:55.2, they finished in 67th place despite the high temperatures of 33°C.
