The new 36,500 m² WoodHub office complex in the heart of Odense, Denmark serves as a workplace for 1,600 government employees. With the choice of timber as the primary building material, the project designed by C.F. Møller Architects sets new standards in Denmark and beyond with regard to large-volume timber construction projects. For the columns alone, 1,450 m³ of glulam was used. The ceiling and wall elements consist of 5,000 m³ of cross-laminated timber.
"In addition to the Lysningen school in Viborg and the Cobot & AMR Hub in Odense, a third project was realized in Denmark in 2024 with the WoodHub. We are proud of this and would particularly like to thank NCC Danmark A/S for their professional and trusting cooperation."
