In Billund, Denmark, the Innovation Campus is a multi-storey office building in timber construction with impressive dimensions: On an area of 50,000 m², various areas for around 1,700 employees are being created in six overlapping modules with up to four floors. The building ensemble includes offices, play zones, atriums and a central PlayWay, which connects the individual areas and promotes interaction. Green spaces and the targeted entry of daylight create an optimal working atmosphere.
"We are extremely proud to be involved in what is currently Denmark's largest timber construction project. The impressive figures for this lighthouse project in Billund show the level at which timber construction will be at in 2025. Our scope of services for our customer KIRKBI A/S includes: CAD engineering, structural design consulting, project management, delivery of 3,500 m³ of glulam and 14,000 m³ of cross-laminated timber as well as the assembly of the timber construction."
