Global warming is progressing. At the same time, demand for buildings and infrastructure is increasing worldwide. The United Nations assumes that the world’s population will grow to almost 10 billion people by 2050. The construction industry is already responsible for around 60% of global resource consumption.

OUR APPROACH
THE BEST SOLUTION FOR EVERY APPLICATION
Glued laminated timber
Glued laminated timber (glulam) is an industrially manufactured, bar-shaped timber component. Glulam consists of at least two technically dried and strength-sorted board lamellas, which are glued together parallel to the fibers. The building material, homogenized by gluing and sorting, is mainly used as beams and supports.
- High load-bearing capacity with low bulk density
- High dimensional stability due to bonding
- High fire resistance and chemical resistance
- Innovation at its best: straight, raised and in special shapes
- Quick and dry construction
- Large spans
Cross laminated timber
Cross laminated timber (CLT) consists of at least three technically dried, strength-graded layers of boards glued together at right angles. As a flat structural component, cross laminated timber has excellent mechanical and physical properties. Cross laminated timber is used as large-area panel and slab elements in walls, roof and ceiling constructions and as slab-like beams.
- Ground or calibrated surface for all qualities
- Ensures a pleasant, comfortable indoor climate
- High fire resistance and chemical resistance
- Flexible sizes can be realized and versatile in use
- High thermal insulation properties
- Quick and easy installation
HESS LIMITLESS
Large spans are no problem for glulam – but transportation and logistics set limits. With HESS LIMITLESS, you can overcome these limitations: We divide long beams into manageable segments at the factory, transport them worldwide and assemble them safely and efficiently on site using our patented wedge joint system.

How we work
We develop customized timber construction solutions and, if required, manage projects holistically from start to finish. From the initial consultation, through timber construction planning and component production, to assembly on the construction site. Everything from a single source.
