3D glulam
The building envelope, which is supported by a free-form and geometrically interlinked glulam structure, has a rotating photovoltaic sail that follows the path of the sun to maximize energy generation.
The construction consists of 1,700 individual glulam components. A special feature is the connecting joints made of beech plywood (LVL) represent a special feature. Overall, the building extends 70 m along the longitudinal axis, around 45 m along the transverse axis and around 27.5 m in height.
