The Anaklia-Ganmukhuri wooden pedestrian bridge is with 504 m one of the longest pedestrian bridges in Europe. The bridge spans the river Enguri and connects the Georgian resort of Anaklia and the neighboring town of Ganmukhuri. The river then flows into the Black Sea.
"The bridge was realized as a triangular truss with stiffening diagonals made of glulam and chord joints, which were executed using the patented HESS LIMITLESS solution. This made it possible to join the individual elements on site in Georgia. The resulting trusses have an impressive length of 48 meters. The maximum free spans of the bridge are 84 m. The total length of the bridge structure measures half a kilometer"
