Located 14 kilometers west of Kutaisi, ‘David the Builder Kutaisi International Airport’ is the second largest airport in Georgia and serves both national and international air traffic. It was designed by the internationally renowned architecture firm UNStudio. The roof construction with truss lengths of almost 20 meters was realized with the patented HESS LIMITLESS solution. The total volume of glulam used amounts to around 300 m³. The individual components were prefabricated in Kleinheubach and assembled on site after delivery.
