When building the new Lysningen school in Viborg, Denmark, architects Arkitema deliberately opted for wood as a renewable raw material for construction, including the roof structure of the integrated sports hall. HESS TIMBER supported the general contractor NCC Danmark A/S in the realization of the roof construction, which consists of 19 glulam beams over two meters high and twenty-five meters long. A total of around 370 m³ of prefabricated timber components were delivered to Denmark from two HASSLACHER group plants.
