In Odense, 3XN/GXN designed a new company headquarters for two leading manufacturers in the field of robotics – Mobile Industrial Robots (MIR) and Universal Robots (UR). The office building extends over 19,000 m² on three floors. In addition to office space, the building also offers showrooms and areas for the research and development of collaborative and mobile robot systems (cobots).
The supporting structure and walls are made of wood, which not only provides a warm, inviting atmosphere, but also creates a pleasant working environment for the users in combination with open spaces and large windows. In total, around 450 m³ of glulam and 6,300 m² of cross-laminated timber were used.
